Adam Cooke – Next Gen Worship Leader

Adam was once told by a friend, “don’t consider ministry as a backup. Ministry has to be something you can’t not do, not where you go because you don’t know where else to go.” As time goes on, Adam felt called by God to go deeper into the ministry; Adam’s gifts, passion, and attention are increasingly directed toward building up the local church in order to further the Kingdom of God.
Adam has been involved in various music ministries for approximately 13 years. Adam started playing bass guitar for Bethany’s worship team at the age of 17. Adam then started leading worship in his freshman year of college (2005) at the Baptist Student Ministry on University of Delaware’s campus. Adam then led worship at Ogletown Baptist Church for a few years after college but returned to Bethany in 2014.
Whenever Adam has the chance, he loves to rap. As a teenager, Adam wrote rap songs and performed them on occasion. Hip-hop music has greatly influenced his musical training and upbringing.
